The Buzz: October 2026
Welcome to autumn, cooler weather, school, football season and the time to harvest and reflect on all the things of summer sun and fun. This is my favorite time of year. I trick myself into thinking that this is the season of slowing down, spending more time with a cozy blanket, hot chocolate, a good book. Wishful thinking I am afraid.
As I look back on another amazing summer at the farm, I am reminded of all the hard work, the community, the collaboration, the joy. The end of another school year launched year two of summer camps at Bee Sage and what a wild, challenging and successful season we had! Sarah spearheaded camps this summer with a new role of Camp Director. With her help, we brought another fantastic counselor Kirra to the team. The dynamic duo created and executed incredible activities and adventures for summer on the farm. We are proud to say camp from year one to year two grew over 300%!
Thank you to everyone, all the families that returned after year one, those who discovered our camp in year two, all the referrals, social media mentions, the trust. As we strive to continue growing, we are seeking community collaborations, creating content and expanding on opportunities to keep children grounded, happy and curious about the natural world around them in fun, explorative, creative ways. Look out year three!
For those of you in tune with the energy around you, there is A LOT happening right now in the greater universe. For Bee Sage, this meant physically showing up in
community, away from the farm, to share all that we have to offer. A collaborative effort, Bee Sage Farm and Green Cottage Collective, participated in our first every wellness fair in Maple Grove. The July event was incredible. The community turnout and support, stunning. Fresh off this event, we partnered up for a September outdoor wellness collaboration in Minneapolis. Despite the rain showers, it was a beautiful celebration of community artists and healers.
If you have never attended a wellness fair or are curious for when Bee Sage will participate again, look no further than our website for future dates (Psst: the next one, on our calendar, is February 6, 2027 at the Maple Grove Community Center but our doors are open, our ears perked should something new and exciting pop into our awareness).
In the same vein, seekers and the curious are reaching out for reiki and intuitive healing for current, past, ancestral, conscious, unconscious and everything in between for greater peace, acceptance, growth, and connection to self, spirit and community. It is humbling to be a partner and guide on the path of discovery.
If you are reiki curious, Bee Sage will be teaching and guiding the reiki curious on a journey to a Reiki I & II certification November 8th and 15th in Stillwater, in collaboration with Midwest Witchery and Healing. If you have never ventured into this beautiful shop in downtown Stillwater, it is a must. You will not be disappointed. Let Witch Jodi know Erika sent you.
Need a session? Check out our availability.
Need a distance session? No problem. Distance healing works just as well as in person and offers ease with prioritizing self-care in a world that does not.
As the autumnal months begin, a time for harvesting and reflecting on what you have planned, sowed, watered and pruned, what are you reaping during this season? Are you happy with the result of your efforts? What would you do the same or different?
Here at Bee Sage, we are enjoying the fruit of our labor, looking over a summer of success and opportunities to do things better, different and more aligned with what the space is asking of us. We are celebrating our harvest with family, friends and the greater community. Delicious food graces our tables and overflows into shared meals and winter preparations. Leisure walks through the property thanking nature of all her abundance and asking her what she needs in the coming cycles. Enjoying the crisp fall air with beautiful fog covered pastures and the sounds of migrating birds departing our pond, a simple pleasure amid the scurrying of activities before the deep freeze settles in.
Here are Bee Sage, we are ever so thankful for all the community support, the repeat and new visitors, the referrals, the reviews. It matters. You matter. We look forward to growing our relationship with you in all meaningful ways to support you wherever you are on your journey through this experience we call life.
