Taught by Erika Gmach & Jenny Parker, Karuna Reiki Masters and Energy Healers
For the curious, the seekers, the healers, and anyone who feels called to learn more.
Whether you are deeply connected to spiritual practices or simply curious about Reiki and its potential, this training welcomes you exactly as you are.
Our own paths to Reiki were remarkably different. Erika's journey grew from years of exploring intuitive healing, herbalism, astrology, and nature-based practices. Jenny came to Reiki as an agnostic public school educator after a single Reiki session sparked a profound curiosity to learn more. Though our journeys began in different places, they led us both to the same realization: Reiki is a gentle yet powerful practice that can support healing, self-discovery, grounding, and connection.
Together, we have continued our studies through Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki® training, including a transformative experience in Japan at Mount Kurama, where Mikao Usui received the powerful gift of Reiki.
In this Usui Holy Fire® III Reiki I & II training, you will receive Reiki I and Reiki II attunements and certifications while learning the history, principles, and practice of Reiki. Through discussion, meditation, hands-on practice, and reflection, you will develop the confidence to use Reiki for self-healing, support the healing of loved ones, and deepen their connection to their own intuition.
This training is intentionally designed for seekers, the curious, and those who feel called to learn more. While Reiki can certainly become part of a professional practice, our focus is on helping students build a meaningful relationship with Reiki and discover how it can support their lives in authentic and personal ways.
We believe Reiki honors all spiritual paths. Our goal is not to change anyone's beliefs, but to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where each participant's experience is respected. Some students may have profound experiences. Others may experience Reiki in quieter ways. There is no right way to experience Reiki, and no expectation that your journey should look like anyone else's.
Throughout the training, students will both give and receive Reiki, allowing ample opportunity to practice, ask questions, and integrate what they are learning in a supportive environment.
